Ultimate Fighter Latin America 1 finalist Leonardo Morales is now with Combate Americas.

The former UFC star made a name for himself in Omega MMA before signing up for the first season of Ultimate Fighter Latin America. Morales defeated Masio Fullen and Gabriel Benitez to advance to the finals; however, he would lose to Yair Rodriquez via unanimous decision.

Morales signed with the promotion and fought Jose Alberto Quinonez at UFC Fight Night 68. The lightweight would lose via submission and was released from the UFC a short time later. Since then, the 27-year-old has been fighting with various promotions and has won three out of his last four fights.

Thus far, Morales’ professional record stands at 7 wins and 3 losses. Sherdog first reported the news that the fighter signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion; however, the exact details of his contract are unknown.
