The 2020 New Japan Cup winner will be crowned.

Before Dominion on Sunday, July 12, The New Japan Cup show will finally crown the winner of the 2020 tournament, with former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada facing EVIL in the main event.

Okada is surely looking for redemption following his loss to Tetsuya Naito at Wrestle Kingdom 14, but EVIL is also in pursuit of becoming the IWGP Intercontinental and Heavyweight Champion for the first time in his career. Who will go on to challenge for the prestigious belts on July 12?

The undercard will feature previews of matches that are scheduled for Dominion on Saturday, with SHO – who’s challenging Shingo Takagi for the NEVER Openweight Championship – teaming with Tomohiro Ishii and Toru Yano to take on Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi & Hiromu Takahashi)

Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. – who will challenge Golden Ace for the IWGP Tag Team titles – will team with Minoru Suzuki & El Desperado to face Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi, Yuji Nagata & Ryusuke Taguchi.
