Marty Scurll made a shocking return to New Japan Pro Wrestling on Monday.

The former ROH World Television Champion has been a very busy man in 2020 thus far, as Scurll has worked NWA Powerrr, ROH, and now, NJPW. However, "The Villain" made his return to NJPW to challenge former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Jay White.

As of this writing, Jay White has yet to respond to Scurll. Both White and Scurll are no strangers to one another, as the duo have faced each other previously back in the 2017 Best of the Super Juniors tournament. Scurll would get the submission victory that night.

Since then, both men have achieved big accolades in their respective promotions, as Jay White became the IWGP Intercontinental and Heavyweight Champion, and Scurll became the longest reigning ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champion and is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

The ROH Supercard of Honor show will be taking place on April 4 in Lakeland, Florida. Thus far, no matches have been confirmed for the big event on WrestleMania weekend.
