Another return has been confirmed for this week’s episode of NJPW Strong.

In addition to the finals match-up between former NEVER Openweight Champion KENTA and David Finlay, NJPW announced that ROH regular Flip Gordon will team with former Villain Enterprises member Brody King to take on the returning Jay White and Chase Owens.

Like many NJPW and ROH talents, Gordon has been out of action due to the coronavirus pandemic. Before closing down, the 28-year-old mainly competed in ROH and NWA over the past year. In fact, Gordon hasn’t fought on a NJPW show since May 2019 during the NJPW/ROH War of the Worlds Tour.

Despite ROH’s announcement of their return to live events, the Villain Enterprises member has yet to be confirmed for the upcoming tapings. Check out the updated line-up for this Friday’s NJPW Strong show:

New Japan Cup USA Finals: David Finlay vs. KENTA

Jay White & Chase Owens vs. Flip Gordon & Brody King

Adrian Quest & Rocky Romero vs. Danny Limelight & The DKC
