NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING Announces The Return Of The SUPER J-CUP Tournament

NJPW has added another tournament to their 2020 line-up as the Japanese promotion confirmed the Super J-Cup series featuring former WWE stars Lio Rush and TJP. Check out the full list of participants here.

The NJPW Super J-Cup will make its 2020 return!

Last year, the tournament highlighting the Junior Heavyweight division saw El Phantasmo beat out the likes of Dragon Lee, Will Ospreay, and Amazing Red to win the out all competition. The single elimination tournament featured 16 competitors; however, the 2020 edition will only feature eight men.

El Phantasmo will compete for the second year in a row; however, some notable names have been confirmed this year as former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush, former Impact X-Division Champion Chris Bey, and Rey Horus will make their first appearance in the competition.

The tournament will air live in the United States on December 12 and it’s expected to be a single elimination tournament once again. Thus far, the first-round matches have yet to be determined. Check out the full list of names below:
