EVIL has now emerged as the frontrunner of the B-Block.

The former Los Ingobernables de Japon member cemented his status as a main event star by not only winning the 2020 New Japan Cup tournament, but also by beating Tetsuya Naito for both the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental titles. While EVIL would drop the belt back to Naito later in the summer, the Bullet Club member has been making waves in the G1 Climax.

On Night 14, the rivalry between Tetsuya Naito and EVIL was renewed as the NJPW talents headlined the latest show. Both men currently hold the top two spots in the G1 rankings. Also, fellow BC member KENTA fought Toru Yano, and SANADA faced former IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson.
