Two championship matches will headline night one of Wrestle Kingdom 15
In the main event, Tetsuya Naito will defend both the IWGP Intercontinental and Heavyweight Titles against Kota Ibushi. This will be the first match since there rivalry back in 2019, which ultimately saw Naito beat Ibushi for the IWGP Intercontinental title. Will the double champion emerge victorious once again?
For the IWGP Tag Team Titles, Dangerous Tekkers (Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi) are set to defend their belts against former six-time champions, The Guerrillas of Destiny. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have managed to climb back into contendership status after dropping their titles early last year; Can the Bullet Club members reclaim their place at the top of the mountain?
Also, Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay will battle in a rematch from their 2020 G1 Climax bout. During that match-up, the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion shocked the world by turning on his CHAOS brother and has vowed to take out the NJPW veteran for good.
