It’s been a newsworthy weekend for New Japan Pro Wrestling, as the Japanese promotion revealed the line-up for their upcoming shows that will feature the retirement of Tiger Hattori and Manabu Nakanishi.
Hattori is a legendary referee who began his career with the promotion back in the late 70’s. Nakanishi is a notable name within NJPW as well, as the 54-year-old’s stellar career spans 25 plus years. Throughout his tenure with New Japan, Nakanishi managed to win the IWGP Heavyweight and Tag Team titles, along with the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championships. He's also a previous G1 Climax (1999) and Young Lion Cup winner (1995).
