NJPW has confirmed a tournament for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team titles.

NJPW's Summer Struggle event will take place on August 6 and two first-round match-ups for the six-man tag team titles are set. Originally, EVIL, Bushi, and Shingo Takagi previously held the prestigious belts; however, following EVIL’s turn, the new IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion vacated the belt.

The promotion then confirmed a eight-team single elimination tournament that features teams such as Los Ingobernables De Japon (Shingo Takagi, BUSHI & SANADA), Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, El Desperado & DOUKI), and CHAOS (YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishii & Hirooki Goto):

Below is the full line-up of the Summer Struggle show that contains two first-round tournament matches:

NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship Tournament: Los Ingobernables De Japon (Shingo Takagi, BUSHI & SANADA) vs Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, El Desperado & DOUKI)

NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship Tournament: CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada, SHO & Toru Yano) vs BULLET CLUB (Yujiro Takahashi, Jado & Gedo)
