The Opening Round in the 2020 New Japan Cup tournament continues.

The 32-man single elimination tournament continued on Monday with several big upsets including Sho beating NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi and Taichi getting the win over former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi. Kota Ibushi and Sanada also managed to defeat their respective opponents to advance into the next round.

On Day Four, Los Ingobernables members Evil and Bushi competed in separate matches, along with former NEVER Openweight Champion Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi.

In non-tournament match-ups, Chaos (Kazuchika Okada, Sho, Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii) battled Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito, Sanada, Hiromu Takahashi & Shingo Takagi) in an eight-man tag team bout. Check out the quick results and some video from Day Four of the 2020 New Japan Cup tournament:
