The 32-man single elimination tournament officially began yesterday and the first day saw IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi, Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, and Togi Makabe advance into the next round of the competition.

On Day Two, former IWGP Heavywieght Champion Kazuchika Okada fought his former long-time manager Gedo, Minoru Suzuki clashed against Yuji Nagata, and former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori went against Yuya Uemura.

In non-tournament match-ups, CHAOS and Los Ingobernables (minus Tetsuya Naito) collided in a wild eight-man tag team bout. Check out the quick results and some video from Day Two of the 2020 New Japan Cup tournament:
