Tetsuya Naito is out of here!
With the rumors swirling about Jeff Cobb possibly leaving for WWE, all eyes were on his match against Tetsuya Naito. Both men brought their A-games and Naito did an excellent job of countering every attempt at Cobb’s Tour of the Islands finisher.
But once Cobb hit it around the 13-minute mark then Naito’s fate was sealed. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion made a brief comeback, but another Tour of the Islands had Naito sleeping for the three count.
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJP is trying to capture the IWGP Heavyweight Championship for the first time of his career, but unfortunately, he was caught with the Drilla Killa (swinging piledriver) after going the distance against Drilla Moloney for about 16 minutes.
And the man that’s destined to be a world champion someday had another banger against Boltin Oleg and final minutes of the match saw Shingo Takagi beat the crap out of him with numerous strikes and knees. Being ultra tough, Oleg kicked out and came close to nailing a Kamikaze, but Takagi reversed it into a Pumping Bomber, which only got a two count. But it was murder she wrote once he hit the Last of the Dragon.
