Tonight is the final night for the round robin part of the tournament.

Konosuke Takeshita secured his spot in the Quarter-finals thanks to his win over Ren Narita. The match started out with Ren, Don Fale, and Dick Togo attacking Takeshita. But that backfired as all it did was piss off the former NEVER Openweight Champion who beat the living crap out of him in the early goings. But Don Fale and Dick Togo helped Narita once they got back outside of the ring. That allowed Narita to finally get the advantage over Takeshita.

Takeshita had brief come backs here and there, but Narita kept him grounded and applied a guillotine choke around the nine minute mark. Takeshita was able to fight out of it and hit a brain buster. Both men were down as the referee was counting. Takeshita finally made his comeback by hitting a top rope superplex and a DDT that resulted in a nearfall. Just as Takeshita was going back up the ropes, Fale yanked him off, which allowed Narita to regain control again and apply an Octopus Stretch. Narita used underhanded tactics to put more pressure on the submission hold, but Takeshita got out of it and hit a German suplex and a devastating clothesline.

But a referee bump saw Togo interfere and put the boots to Takeshita. Rocky Romero would stop the attack and brawl with Togo out of the ring. Takeshita got rid of Don Fale thanks to a boot to his face. The match came down to Narita trying to apply the Hell’s Guillotine. Takeshita reversed it and hit a standing powerbomb. Yoshinobu Kanemaru came down and accidentally sprayed alcohol into Narita’s eyes. That allowed Takeshita to apply a crossface chickwing, with Narita passing out slowly.
