The Good Brothers are returning home this Friday.
To the surprise of maybe three people, New Japan Pro-Wrestling has finally confirmed that the tag team partners for Matthew and Nicholas Jackson at the upcoming Resurgence show. To recall, the former IWGP Tag Team Heavyweight Champions challenged the Bullet Club War Dogs back at Windy City Riot.
There’s been rumors and speculation on who might team with The Young Bucks, with mostly everyone predicting that it would be the Good Brothers. The Bucks mentioned that they would bring back a couple of OG’s with them, and Karl Anderson indicated strongly that he would return to New Japan following his release.
The former WWE Tag Team Champions were released in February. It was shocking because Karl Anderson was out with a torn rotator cuff; however, prior to the injury, WWE wasn’t particularly doing much with Anderson and Gallows.
The Good Brothers have finally put those rumors to rest by announcing their return through social media. Given their ties to the promotion, it’s no surprise that they’re returning to New Japan. The duo has been off and on New Japan for nearly 18 years.
Gabe Kidd - one of the Bullet Club War Dogs members - isn’t impressed. In fact, Kidd’s response is a hilarious change to his bio and Twitter photo trolling the Good Brothers.
