The NJPW BEST OF THE SUPER JUNIORS And WORLD TAG LEAGUE Tournament Finals Are Officially Set

New challengers for both the IWGP Junior Heavyweight and Tag Team Championships will be confirmed soon as the finals for the Best of the Super Juniors and World Tag League tournament are officially set.

The finals for NJPW’s World Tag League and Best of the Super Juniors have been set!

Since November 15, New Japan Pro-Wrestling has been running both tournaments and after weeks of competitors vying for a spot in the finals, Former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi and El Desperado will battle in the BOTSJ finals.

For the World Tag League Finals, a Wrestle Kingdom 14 rematch will take place as David Finlay & Juice Robinson will fight The Guerillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) in the co-main event. Finlay & Robinson actually won the 2019 tournament and beat Tonga and Loa for the IWGP Tag Team titles at the company’s big event in January.

The full card for Friday’s show will also feature Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, EVIL, NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi, IWGP Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito, and IWGP Junior Heavywieght Champion Taiji Ishimori in action.
