It will be “The Aerial Assassin” vs. “The Rainmaker” once again.

On Day 17, the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion shocked the wrestling world when he screwed over his former CHAOS stablemate and aligned himself with The Great O-Khan and Bea Priestly.

On Nov. 7, Okada managed to get a small measure of revenge as the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion beat The Great O-Khan at the Power Struggle pay-per-view. The Great O-Khan gave the NJPW star one hell of a fight (with some help from Will Ospreay), but Okada hit his devastating rainmaker finisher and then locked in a submission for the win.

Following the match-up, Okada called out Ospreay and demanded a rematch. “The Aerial Assassin” first congratulated Okada on his victory and finally explained why he turned on the 33-year-old. Ospreay stated that he used Okada to get the spotlight on him, but wants to be the known as the man who ends the career of “The Rainmaker”.

Ultimately, the match-up was confirmed for Night One by New Japan officials. We’ll keep you updated as more news passes along regarding the line-up for Wrestle Kingdom 15.
