The upcoming Worlds Collide special crossover event featuring talent from AAA, WWE, NXT and TNA Wrestling—set to go down June 7, 2025 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California—now has two more matches added to the card.
Starting this week's episode of NXT, the North American Championship changed hands as Ricky Saints lost the title to "All Ego" Ethan Page.
It had been announced before that whoever walked out of that match with the title would have to defend it at Worlds Collide, but no one had been specified as the challenger. That was then clarified in a later segment with Page in the ring celebrating his title victory, which was interrupted by Je'Von Evans, who explained that he would be fighting for the belt.
However, it's not just Evans who is in the match. Evans announced Laredo Kid as well will be fighting for it, and Kid came out to quickly talk about how he'll win the title. Page flipped out about the idea of a Triple Threat, only for Rey Fenix to also come out to say he's in the match, too, making it a Fatal 4-Way for the title.
On top of that, there was a backstage segment where NXT General Manager Ava told Stephanie Vaquer that she will have a tag team match against Chik Tormenta and Dalys—who she had interacted with at Battleground. Lola Vice immediately volunteered to stand by Vaquer's side and team with her for the match.
Apparently, WWE also made the mistake last night on Monday Night Raw of spoiling that the match between El Hijo del Vikingo against Chad Gable will be for the AAA Mega Championship, before Vikingo even has his match for the title against Alberto el Patron on May 31st. Technically, at this moment, this match at Worlds Collide is not for that title, but we can assume that will change in a few days.
As it stands right now, officially, this is the Worlds Collide card:
- El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: Legado del Fantasma (Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, and Santos Escobar) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown
- Tag Team Match: Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice vs. Chik Tormenta and Dalys
- Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) vs. Je'Von Evans vs. Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix
As a reminder, Worlds Collide will not be streaming on Peacock and Netflix as typical premium live events do. Instead, it will be airing on WWE's YouTube channel (in both English and Spanish). Later that same day will also be the WWE Money in the Bank event, which will be on Peacock and Netflix.
