The card for WWE Money in the Bank is starting to fill up as two more Superstars qualified for entries on last night's episode of Friday Night SmackDown (May 23, 2025).
At the start of the show, Tiffany Stratton had a promo segment acknowledging that instead of winning the briefcase like she did last year, this time around, she'll be one of the targets. She warned whoever does win the contract not to cash in on her. This led to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair coming out to call their shot that they would do just that, but The Queen ended up finding herself not on the winning side of her qualifier.
Flair lost her Triple Threat match—though she wasn't pinned—against Giulia, who pinned Zelina Vega after taking out Flair's legs during a Figure 4 and following it up with a Northern Lights Bomb on the women's United States champion. By proxy of that, Giulia not only earned her spot, but there's grounds she could be the next No. 1 contender to the title with that pinfall, depending on if Vega retains the belt over Chelsea Green at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Next week's qualifier to round out the blue brand's final woman will be contested between Jade Cargill, Naomi, and Nia Jax.
In regards to the men's Triple Threat qualifier match, LA Knight defeated Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura in somewhat similar fashion to how Giulia scored her victory, wherein he also tossed someone aside (in this case, Black) and eliminated the arguable favorite to steal a pin over the weaker link at the time in Nakamura.
The final SmackDown men's slot will be determined next week in a Triple Threat qualifier between Carmelo Hayes (who supposedly was given his spot by The Miz volunteering Hayes over himself), United States champion Jacob Fatu (who has his issues with JC Mateo and Solo Sikoa, hinting at some jealousy over Fatu being selected), as well as Andrade (who was just casually mentioned with zero build at all and will obviously be taking the pin with that in mind.)
WWE has still not revealed what any of the qualifying matches for Raw's men's division will be, as those three participants need to be settled on, as well as one more for the women's division. All that is known so far is that it's likely Chad Gable and Ivy Nile will be taking part in qualifiers.
