WWE has a lot of special events coming up in a short time frame, and even though Saturday Night's Main Event 39, NXT Battleground, and the AAA crossover Worlds Collide events are coming up first, WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is also right around the corner, set for June 7, 2025 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.
As always, that event is going to feature both a men's and a women's Money in the Bank ladder match, with the winners of the briefcases having the ability to cash in for a title opportunity at any point, anywhere, on any roster, for the next calendar year.
Though WWE has yet to announce how many competitors will make up this year's set of matches (which have been anywhere from 5 to 10 over the course of this match's history), what we do know aat the moment are two of the WWE Superstars who will be competing in the 2025 ladder matches, as two Triple Threat qualifying bouts took place on this week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The first was for the women's division, which was a contest between Alexa Bliss, Chelsea Green, and Michin.
No one was allowed to be ringside, meaning B-Fab wasn't out to support Mia Yim, but more importantly, The Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre and Piper Niven) weren't there to back up Chelsea Green, who could have used their help, as she ended up being the one to take the pinfall after Bliss hit her Sister Abigail DDT for the win.
With regards to the men's match, Solo Sikoa was able to qualify by beating both Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix after scoring a pin on Fenix from a Samoan Spike, giving him his first significant win for 2025 and even a good portion of 2024, as it has been quite some time since Sikoa has accomplished anything.
With those wins, the current lineup for WWE Money in the Bank's card stands at the following:
- Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Alexa Bliss vs. TBD
- Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Solo Sikoa vs. TBD
