Next week, WWE Monday Night Raw emanates out of the KFC Yum! Center in Lousville, Kentucky on May 12, 2025.
As it will be the first TV episode following this Saturday's premium live event WWE Backlash, there will be elements of the show dealing with those results and the repercussions felt throughout the red brand, along with apparently at least three matches that have been advertised to take place on next week's card.
One of the things happening at Backlash is that Dominik Mysterio will face Penta with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. On tonight's episode, not only was that announced, but after Penta defeated JD McDonagh, Mysterio asked Finn Balor for his help in taking care of AJ Styles, who had came into The Judgment Day's clubhouse (via R-Truth) to let the champion know that he was coming after the intercontinental title next, no matter which one of Mysterio or Penta left Backlash with the belt.
At first, Balor was upset at the request from Dirty Dom, scoffing at the idea that he's a subordinate doing errands for him. But just as the in-fighting within The Judgment Day has been over the past few months, once things got tense, Balor smiled and said of course he would help his buddy out. As a result, Balor will face Styles in singles competition next week.
In other title news, The New Day talked to Chad Gable backstage about how in their minds, American Made is more deserving of challenging for the World Tag Team Championship next, as opposed to The War Raiders getting a rematch. Next week, Erik and Ivar will be in action against The Creed Brothers.
Lastly—at least as far as what WWE is willing to announce so far—there will be a tag team match in the women's division as Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley will partner up to face Roxanne Perez and Giulia. On tonight's episode, the women's world champion Sky defeated Perez in a non-title match, but was attacked by Giulia after Perez suckered her in with a false sense of respect when she shook her hand.

- War Raiders vs. American Made’s Creed Brothers
- AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor
- Iyo Sky & Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez & Giulia
