A New Ms. Money In The Bank Was Crowned On Last Night's Episode Of SMACKDOWN LIVE

Whether or not it was always the plan from the start is hard to say, but the decision to have James Ellsworth essentially win the Money in the Bank briefcase for Carmella was met with an overwhelmingly negative response and led to a rematch being announced for this week's episode of SmackDown Live

Regardless of the reasons for the rematch, WWE is clearly sticking with Carmella as a future Women's Champion as she once again emerged
victorious. She did so without the help of a man this time and now has 365 days or so to cash in and attempt to become champion.

Naomi is currently Women's Champion on SmackDown Live and after quickly dealing with Lana this week, it remains to be seen who will next challenge for the title. She's going to have to watch her back, though, as Carmella could come gunning for her at any time, something she proved at Money in the Bank when she appeared at ringside during Naomi's match!
