Tonight's edition of AAA Lucha Libre: Verano de Escandalo (Saturday, July 25, 2026) emanates from Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico and will stream starting at 7 p.m. ET on YouTube. This will also be a taping for the two episodes which will air on August 1st and August 8th as well.

On tap for tonight's show, Verano de Escandalo begins its three-week run from Arena San Marcos. The full announced lineup includes Rey Fenix defending the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Mini Vikingo, Flammer defending the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against La Catalina and Lady Shani, Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana defending the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship against La Hiedra and Laredo Kid, multiple qualifying matches for the vacant AAA Latin American Championship, and Dominik Mysterio teaming with El Grande Americano against Los Perros del Mal.
Note: Spoilers may be difficult to find for the tapings portion, but this post will at least cover everything that broadcasts live. It's unclear which matches are on which nights, so everything is just listed below.
As far as predictions are concerned, something is telling me that La Hiedra and Laredo Kid will win the mixed tag titles. I'm not sure why—just a gut feeling suspicion, I guess.
I don't think Rey Fenix loses the cruiserweight belt to Mini Vikingo.
The qualifiers are very difficult for me to predict, as I'm just not as knowledgeable about how important TripleMania is for each individual person's starpower quite yet. If I have the right grasp on the roster, though, I think we might look at El Fiscal over Psycho Clown and Cruz Del Toro, I could see Dragon Lee over La Parka and Mecha Wolf, and if star power is what they want for Damian Priest to get involved, that leaves Omos and Galeno to have a one-on-one match elsewhere on the card if neither of them qualify.
Dirty Dom and El Grande Americano shouldn't be victorious together. Why would they be able to coexist?
I'm split on the Reina de Reinas title match. Effectively, I think La Catalina will be champion by the time TripleMania is over with, but does she win the title here or does Flammer retain by beating Lady Shani and the next stretch of time is building up La Catalina getting a one-on-one opportunity? Is it maybe just something as simple as La Catalina wins here, Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana lose the mixed tag titles, and Lola Vice fights La Catalina since that incorporates an NXT Superstar into the fray just like Damian Priest?
