Preview & Predictions for AAA Rey de Reyes 2026:

On tap for tonight's event, I'd imagine Dominik Mysterio is going to retain the AAA Mega Championship over El Hijo del Vikingo, rather than to be booted out of AAA for good. This also has me assuming El Grande Americano will win the Rey de Reyes tournament to become the next challenger, as that's the big money match left over to do.

I'm torn on the idea of The War Raiders winning the tag team titles, as that could happen, but there's nothing that directly feels like it has to happen. Likewise, Laredo Kid could drop the Cruiserweight Championship, but is it necessary? I'm not sure. If so, I think Dragon Lee would walk away with it, but TJP is another major candidate. I don't think it would be Jack Cartwheel.

Flammer will probably retain the Reina de Reinas Championship, but without knowing who her opponent is, that becomes even more difficult to predict.

Here are your results for AAA Rey de Reyes 2026:

  • The Lucha Bros had a promo at the start of the show to talk about their respect for the fans, how they're going to team up again, and how Penta is going to be a fighting champion in Mexico.
  • Open Challenge Singles Match for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Flammer (c) retained over Bayley
  • Four-Way Match Rey de Reyes Tournament Final to Determine the #1 Contender for the AAA Mega Championship: El Grande Americano defeated La Parka, Santos Escobar and The Original El Grande Americano by pinfall on Escobar.
  • No Disqualification Match for the AAA Mega Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) defeated El Hijo del Vikingo by pinfall. As per the stipulation, Vikingo now cannot challenge for the title so long as Mysterio is holding the belt.
