It's time for AAA Triplemanía XXXIII! This special event is the second show following the partnership between WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is taking place Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Arena CDMX in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico.
This event will deviate from traditional WWE broadcast methods. Instead of airing on Peacock in the United States and Netflix elsewhere, it will be on WWE's YouTube channel (as well as WWE Espanol and AAA's YouTube channels) in the video here starting at 9 p.m. ET.

Preview & Predictions for AAA Triplemanía XXXIII:
On tap for today's event, the big draw above all else is that El Hijo del Vikingo is putting the AAA Mega Championship on the line in a Fatal 4-Way against Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio, and the Ludwig Kaiser version of El Grande Americano.
Even though Vikingo won the belt not that long ago, it would not at all surprise me if he drops it here. Frankly, putting it on a WWE talent is likely the best case scenario for this company to get more eyes, and all three have their viability. Dragon Lee would be the most shocking outcome, just given how he hasn't been able to move out of the midcard in WWE yet, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Midcard on Raw could very well translate to the world title in AAA. There's a chance Chad Gable was lined up to win this, and his injury has Kaiser coming out on top instead. But my favorite scenario would be Dominik Mysterio.
I could very well see Los Garza dropping the tag titles to Pagano and Psycho Clown, particularly if a WWE guy comes out with the Mega Championship.
The Judgment Day have an extra person ringside with Roxanne Perez backing them up in the six-person mied tag team match, but Mr. Iguana has La Yesca, and I'm just imagining something goofy will happen there with Roxanne and this will all be for a laugh with Lola Vice and company getting the win.
WWE seems hell bent on not using Natalya for anything these days. It'd be nice to see her win a title and beat Flammer and Faby Apache. I don't believe it will happen, as I think Flammer will just retain, but I'd like Neidhart to get a feather in her cap.
This partnership between WWE and AAA is too new to get a sense of how often they will change titles, but I could see El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. beating El Mesias. They seem to like Wagner.
The Copa Bardahl match has too many variables to even judge who is in it, let alone a victor.
