The SummerSlam match card is almost final with most WWE titles set to be defended, but up until now, we still had no idea who would be challenging AJ Styles for the Intercontinental Championship.

Now, PW Insider is reporting that it'll be Jeff Hardy facing off with The Phenomenal One for the prestigious title at the upcoming PPV.

Hardy has been involved in a feud with Sheamus while Styles has been defending the title against the likes of Matt Riddle and Drew Gulak, so we haven't seen any build for this match. That'll probably change on tomorrow's episode of SmackDown, however.

You can find out what other matches are on the SummerSlam card below.

Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton – WWE Championship

Braun Strowman (c) vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt – Universal Championship

Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins – No Disqualification Match

Sasha Banks (c) vs. Asuka – Raw Women’s Championship

Bayley (c) vs. TBD – SmackDown Women’s Championship

Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade & Angel Garza – Raw Tag Team Championship

Apollo Crews (c) vs. MVP – United States Championship

We were hoping SummerSlam would be able to take place at a venue that would allow at least a few fans in the arena, but it looks like we're going to be stuck with the Performance Center again.
