AJ Styles Moved To "Alumni" Section Of WWE Website After Being Fired By SMACKDOWN LIVE GM Daniel Bryan

We thought that AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon at WrestleMania was a sure thing, but with The Phenomenal One now on the "Alumni" page of WWE.com, how exactly does that change things?

During last night's episode of SmackDown Live, AJ Styles brutally attacked Shane McMahon and drove his head through a car window. That led to General Manager Daniel Bryan firing The Phenomenal One, though when the episode wrapped up with McMahon telling Styles he had a match with him at WrestleMania, most of us assumed that it was a done deal for the Showcase of the Immortals.

Well, Styles has now been moved to the "Alumni" page of WWE.com, and while this is obviously for storyline purposes, it leaves us with a lot of very interesting questions about what this might mean.

Will McMahon rehire Styles next week or will he join the RAW roster? Many fans are speculating that he and Seth Rollins will switch places if Triple H ends up firing him, while it's also possible that the match at WrestleMania between McMahon and Styles ends up being an "unsanctioned" street fight or something similar. Time will tell, but next week's SmackDown Live should be a must-watch.
