During Friday night's episode of SmackDown, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler defeated Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre to unify the WWE and NXT Women's Tag Team Championships.
The bout ended with Raquel Rodriguez and the returning Liv Morgan challenging the Baddest Woman on the Planet and her partner to a rematch for the titles they never lost. During SmackDown Lowdown, that was made official, with the match now added to the Money in the Bank card.
This is actually the only women's match on the entire show, though the hope is that will change over the next week.
However, as you can see in the lineup for next week's SmackDown, the current plan is for Charlotte Flair to challenge Asuke for the WWE Women's Championship the night before the PLE takes place. Hopefully, Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley will see action during the show.
We'd also take that card with a pinch of salt for now, especially after Vince McMahon caused chaos backstage during the latest SmackDown after scrapping three scheduled matches on a whim.
You can see the match being made official in the video below along with comments from Rodriquez and Morgan and the updated Money in the Bank card.
