It was just announced on WWE's X account that the WWE ID Women's Championship has been vacated as Kylie Rae has relinquished the title.
This comes out a day after Kylie Rae was asked why she vacated the Relentless Wrestling Pacific Northwest Championship, responding "Because I'm pregnant"
The WWE ID program (WWE Independent Development) was announced earlier this year as a sub-section of NXT, essentially. While NXT is the "developmental show" underneath the main roster brands of Raw and SmackDown, it has been restructured this year to receive an upgrade by proxy of some lower tiers beneath it. Now effectively the "minor leagues", three other concepts below fill the void of more "developmental" than that, which are WWE LFG, WWE EVOLVE, and the WWE ID program.
Talent from LFG compete on a pseudo reality show to earn an NXT contract, of which some of those Superstars can also be wrestling on EVOLVE, which features talent signed through the WWE ID and WWE NIL (Next in Line) programs as a different sort of contract within World Wrestling Entertainment than true NXT or WWE Superstars (with terms not yet clarified to the public).
Rae was one of the first announced for this program and has been one of the most featured talents on EVOLVE since its debut, continuing to wrestle in other promotions as well, advertised as a WWE ID star and representing that brand.
The men's WWE ID Championship was settled when Cappuccino Jones defeated Jack Cartwheel on August 1, 2025 at Game Changer Wrestling's The ID Showcase event. On that same show, Rae defeated Zara Zakher and Zayda Steel in a Triple Threat match to become the inaugural women's champion.
That was seemingly Rae's last match as well, as since then, a bout pre-taped for EVOLVE against Masyn Holiday aired, but had likely been recorded weeks if not months ago.
WWE has yet to announce how and when a new champion would be crowned now that Rae is no longer holding the title, meaning there could be an upcoming indie show that suddenly gets a new title match added to the lineup soon enough.
Congrats to Kylie Rae!
