In the latest of a long line of changes made to the WWE roster over the past week, Blake Monroe has also been announced to be joining the SmackDown brand going forward.
On tonight's episode (April 24, 2026), a vignette aired to fill audiences in on who The Glamour is, for those who don't watch NXT.
"The Glamour is the girl you've been waiting for. She's beauty. She's grace. And she'll probably punch you in the face. The Glamour doesn't just walk into the spotlight, she's the reason it exists. Because nothing burns brighter and darker than Blake Monroe."
Monroe being listed as "coming soon" to SmackDown, as opposed to directly advertised as making her debut next week, implies she won't be fully joining the blue brand for at least a few more weeks. History has shown that in these circumstances, WWE usually waits around a month, but there have been instances that have dragged out considerably longer, such as Veer Mahaan and Emmalina stretching for months on end.
Most likely, WWE is waiting on the upcoming Backlash event to be out of the way before bringing Monroe onto the show.
In the meantime, the other three new members to the SmackDown women's division, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid) got off to a huge start by attacking Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Brie Bella, and Paige, as well as Rhea Ripley, making quick enemies out of some of the biggest names on the brand. Will Monroe step into that title hunt, or will she go after the Women's United States Championship, recently won by Tiffany Stratton, who defeated Giulia on this same episode to capture the title?
Monroe most recently lost her casket match on this week's NXT Revenge episode, failing to take the Women's North American Championship from Tatum Paxley. Despite being gifted a custom version of that belt by The Vanity Project, both parties seem to be moving on, with The Vanity Project now having Myka Lockwood in their ranks.
By moving to the SmackDown roster as opposed to Monday Night Raw, Monroe also lands on the same brand as her other biggest rival since joining WWE in Jordynne Grace.
