Now Seth Rollins knows how Roman Reigns feels.
This past Monday, Bron Breakker shocked the masses by spearing the WWE World Heavyweight Champion out of his boots in the final segment. Bron’s decision seemed to be somewhat of a spur of the moment thing as neither Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman had any idea that the screwjob of the century was about to take place.
But Bronson joined in on the fun by giving Rollins a Tsaumi as Heyman looked on horrified. The WWE Hall of Famer eventually chose his side with Breakker and Reed, but Paul Heyman didn’t seem like a man who had much of a choice. There’s so many questions in regards to why Bron Breakker turned on Seth Rollins.
However, there’s clearly no regrets on Breakker’s end as he released a simple message following his jarring turn:
“The Vision has never been more clear.”
Seth has been quiet since the turn. His wife, Becky Lynch, did have a few choice words for segment. Obviously, we’ll get more answers about the future of The Vision and Seth Rollins on Monday’s RAW.
But the segment itself came quicker than anticipated because it appears that Seth Rollins injured his arm. Before RAW this past Monday, Sean Ross Sapp reported that the WWE World Heavyweight Champion was in a sling. This comes after his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel where Seth Rollins pulled off a coast-to-coast headbutt that may have been a mistake in hindsight.
Rollins notably held his arm for a bit, but he continued on with the match like a true professional. At the moment, it’s unclear just how serious Seth’s injury is, but given the fact that the company sped through an entire year's worth of story in regards to Bron turning on Seth, it’s clear that the injury is pretty major.
For now, Seth remains the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. And the attack on Monday wasn’t so drastic enough that it required Seth to relinquish the belt. But WWE did remove Seth from a string of shows in Japan this weekend. Of course, we’ll find out what happens soon enough when more information about what's really going on with Seth comes to light.
