Cathy Kelley has firmly established herself as a fan-favourite backstage interviewer in WWE, and if you follow her on social media, then you'll likely know that she's good friends with former Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley.
That could explain why Kelley decided to transform into The Eradicator for Halloween in what has to be one of 2025's most eye-catching costumes! The WWE personality looks perhaps even more stunning than usual, and channelled Ripley well.
Kelley shared the photos on social media and even pulled off some of Ripley's iconic poses. Needless to say, this is likely to only further increase excitement among fans for the possibility that we might see her take on a more active role in WWE.
Earlier this year, it was reported that not only has Kelley been getting some in-ring training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, but she's also been taking part in promo classes for "some time."
WWE has done its best to keep Kelley's presence at their training facility under wraps, and there's been no word since then on how her training has progressed (or whether she's ready to step into the ring).
When this news broke, it was said that the plan is to place her in a managerial role, but where exactly she'll land, and what, if anything, WWE has planned for her, remains to be seen.
Kelley has earned a legion of fans for her backstage interviews and has become a popular personality on social media, particularly while having fun with WWE Superstars. There's a huge amount she can contribute beyond her current role, so seeing how this situation develops is going to be very interesting.
Last November, Kelley made it clear that she intends to remain in WWE for the foreseeable future. She also confirmed that she'd like to eventually transition into a managerial position, echoing former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin's dashed hopes.
She'd hoped to do more than introduce WWE Superstars as they made their way to the ring, but was so good in that role, the company wasn't eager to have her do anything else. Could things pan out differently for Kelley?
"I would definitely be open to managing if it is the right pairing," she said. "That is something that I would love to grow into, whether that’s, you know, tomorrow, whether that’s a decade down the line."
Kelley added, "I do really see myself involved in WWE, in wrestling, in some way throughout my entire career...I have a couple of things outside of WWE that I’m very excited for, that I don’t know that I can share yet, but I will be posting them on my socials."
