A vignette aired on tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown to hype up the return of Charlotte Flair, who hasn't been seen in over a year.
The Queen last wrestled on the December 8, 2023 Tribute to the Troops edition of Friday Night SmackDown at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island, suffering a loss to Asuka. Since then, Flair has been out of action with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus injuries.
No date was announced for when Flair will return to the ring, but it's safe to assume it may happen at part of the WWE Royal Rumble event coming up on February 1st.

Elsewhere shown on WWE Friday Night SmackDown was WWE legend Victoria enjoying the show ringside.
The two-time former WWE women's champion last wrestled in general on the January 14, 2023 episode of Impact Wrestling, teaming with Gisele Shaw (under her TNA ring name Tara) in a losing effort against The Death Dollz (Jessicka and Taya Valkyrie). Her last appearance in a WWE ring was the 2021 Royal Rumble match. On the indie scene, she competed last in 2019 under her real name, Lisa Marie Varon, when she defeated Melina Perez to win the vacant MORE Wrestling Women's Championship at Masters of Ring Entertainment.
She wasn't the only interesting woman ringside, though, as Roxanne Perez was also ringside to watch the main event, which saw Bayley fall short of winning back the WWE Women's Championship from Tiffany Stratton.
While she didn't get involved in the match directly, she did share some cross words with Bayley during the action, playing off their recent interaction in the closing moments of this week's episode of NXT, wherein they got into a brawl after Bayley interrupted Perez's promo where she talked about the brand being too good for her, insinuating she would be leaving it and moving up to the main roster soon enough. This could be the start of her being officially traded over to the SmackDown lineup going forward, but that was not yet confirmed.
