Chris Jericho May Return To WWE Sooner Than Expected Following This Year's WRESTLEMANIA

We've known for a while that Chris Jericho would be taking some time off following WrestleMania, but it sounds like Y2J will return to the squared circle sooner than any of us actually expected...

Chris Jericho was recently betrayed by his so-called best friend Kevin Owens, and with all the signs pointing to those two squaring off for the United States Championship at this year's WrestleMania, just how much time Y2J would be taking off from the company as he looks to record music and tour with his band Fozzy again hasn't been clear.

Well, it turns out that the author of "The List of Jericho" could be back even sooner than we thought.

While he's touring with Fozzy through May and June and currently scheduled for no WWE Live events after WrestleMania, Wrestling Inc. reports that Jericho is "expected" to be back in WWE by the end of the summer. That would mean he could be ready for SummerSlam and a possible rematch with Owens assuming KO takes the title from him at WrestleMania.

We're just going to have to wait and see, but the thought of a babyface Jericho putting people on The List is very cool and should make his return one of the best yet (and Y2J is no stranger to those). We'd all best just get ready to drink it in
