Its been a long time coming, but “The Ninth Wonder of The World” is finally getting inducted into the WWE Hall of fame alongside her D-Generation X members Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac. The company has come under some scrutiny since 2016 for letting politics prevent the former Intercontinental champion from entering her rightful place into the Hall of fame.
Chyna’s mother, Jan LaQue,
wrote a passionate statement on her daughter’s 49th birthday about WWE not allowing her into the HOF, so when it was announced that Chyna would be officially entering the 2019 class, her mother was surely thrilled by the news as she spoke with
Pro Wrestling Sheet about her induction:
"I am absolutely thrilled. And so is my husband. We have been invited to the ceremony and will be so proud to be there and celebrate this awesome occasion. She certainly earned this, to say the least. I would like to thank the WWE for giving Joanie the recognition she deserves.”
A recent video surfaced of Chyna looking to make amends with WWE prior to her passing in 2016. Following yesterday's announcement, Triple H stated that Chyna deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame as an individual as well.
