CM Punk vs Seth Rollins in a Steel Cage, LWO Tornado Tag Team Match & More Announced For Next Week's WWE Raw

A tornado tag team match, AJ Styles confronting Logan Paul, a steel cage match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, and more are set for next week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw!

Next week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw will take place inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, and WWE has a few interesting things on tap for that show.

First and foremost, the real draw of the night is going to be a steel cage match between CM Punk and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins.

These two have been feuding for months and have no love loss between each other, which was magnified even more by the events of Elimination Chamber this past Saturday night, wherein Punk eliminated Rollins, who gave Punk a stomp after the pinfall which led to his elimination from John Cena. Rollins had made good on his promise to ruin Punk's hopes of getting into the main event of WrestleMania 41, and The Second City Savior is more furious at him than ever before as a result.

That is why Punk started off tonight's edition of Raw fuming, cutting a promo about Rollins (as well as giving his thoughts on The Rock and John Cena after that heel turn). This led to an explosive brawl with Rollins that lasted all the way until the commercial break, but was picked up again later on in the show, leading to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce booking Rollins vs. Punk inside a steel cage next week to try to contain them and end their rivalry once and for all.

It's doubtful that will be the end of this, as you can bet you're going to see an appearance from Roman Reigns next week to reinsert himself back into the mix for this Triple Threat we seem to be getting for WrestleMania.

The feud between the Latino World Order and The New Day is also going to pick up some more steam, as the LWO have called out Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for a tornado tag team match next week. Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee will represent LWO, and are looking to make good on the no disqualification element of that gimmick.

AJ Styles is planning on calling out Logan Paul next week, which will undoubtedly be a promo segment and some fighting, rather than an impromptu match. As their paths have crossed a few times in the past month since Royal Rumble, where Paul eliminated Styles. The Phenomenal One wants to redeem that loss, and has Karrion Kross in his ear, for some reason. Is this a redirect where Kross is moving from Sami Zayn to Styles? Will this just lead to Styles vs. Paul for WrestleMania, and Kross is a stall feud to give Styles something to do over the next 47 days? We'll see the next phase of that story next week.

Lastly, "Main Event" Jey Uso is going to have a match against Grayson Waller. This is because A-Town Down Under jumped Uso from behind after the Royal Rumble winner was fighting with Gunther (who had just defeated Otis of Alpha Academy). Waller and Austin Theory have been critical of Uso recently, so it looks like this will be the first of a few other stopgaps, likely with Uso vs. Theory as a seemingly inevitable follow-up that we'll get announced for two weeks from now, too. It wouldn't be surprising at all to see a six-man tag team match down the line, too, with Gunther, Theory, and Waller against Uso, Otis, and Akira Tozawa, but for now, it's just Uso vs. Waller.

To recap, this is the currently announced lineup for the March 10, 2025 episode of WWE Raw:

  • Steel Cage Match: CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
  • Tornado Tag Team Match: LWO (Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
  • "Main Event" Jey Uso vs. Grayson Waller
  • AJ Styles calls out Logan Paul
