"Did You Have A Good Time Tonight Buddy?": Hornswoggle Details His Bizarre First Meeting With The Rock

Former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle has reflected on his first meeting with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and despite him being backstage, the Final Boss just assumed he was a Make-A-Wish kid. Check it out...

Dylan Postl, a.k.a. Hornswoggle, had a memorable 10-year run in WWE after making his debut in 2006. Whether it was being revealed as Vince McMahon's bastard son, the moment he was outed as the Anonymous RAW General Manager, or the WeeLC match, Postl made an impact.

He has a few film credits to his name and can frequently be seen on television addressing the role of little people in the entertainment industry.

Chris Van Vliet recently sat down for a lengthy conversation with Postl, and among the many topics covered was a bizarre first meeting with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson backstage at a WWE show.

"So I am in a suit, a legit suit, not my leprechaun outfit, with my gear bag, and I'm gonna meet him behind the curtain as he comes through. In my mind, best friends, I see my buddy Dwayne come back through, oh boy here we go! I say, 'Hey man, thank you so much for coming back. Thanks for what you're gonna do for WrestleMania and what you're gonna do for the company, and just glad to have you back. Good to meet you. My name is Dylan.' He extends his arm out, goes, 'Did you have a good time tonight buddy?'"

"Taps me on the shoulder, leaves, and I go, 'Oh no.' He doesn't realize I work here. I was on the show before that. I told Kofi, thinking he would have my back and support me. He supported me by texting 97 people immediately while driving because he couldn't wait on it. Within 30 seconds, I had so many people message me. 'Rock thought you were a Make-A-Wish kid, huh?' Big Show called him out the next week about this, because it got to Big Show. Rock goes, 'No, yeah, I did, yeah, I did. I don't watch the show.' I approached him about it too. And he said yeah, Big Show already got on me about this."

This lines up with what we've heard about The Rock arriving at WWE shows, keeping himself to himself (well, alongside his entourage) in a dressing room, and only paying attention to what's happening when it's time for his segment.

Remaining on the subject of Hollywood, Postl once again tore into Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage for costing little people actors the chance to star in Disney's Snow White remake.

Dinklage criticised Disney for making the movie, leading to the Seven Dwarfs being cut. Fan backlash followed, but they ended up being a group of CG magical creatures rather than a group of real-life "dwarfs."

"F*ck you Peter Dinklage, piece of sh*t. F*cking hate him. He [cost] so many people in my community jobs with that Snow White bullsh*t, it p*sses me off. I think he wanted to make a statement, and he thought he was making some cool, hip thing. But it wasn't. When he did Elf, that check cashed just fine. Tyrion Lannister was a role for a little person. He cashed that check for all those years. I'm okay not going out for Brad Pitt's role. Give me Grumpy or Happy or Sleepy. Major Disney remake? Yeah! Come on. Then you're gonna have seven dwarves. Then there are extras, then there's stunt doubles that are all gonna get paid. And he f*cked it."
