Drew McIntyre Reveals Whether He'll Make It To SUMMERSLAM After Recent Travel Issues In The UK

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre recently revealed that he'd been left stranded in the UK due to travel issues, and we now have an update from the Scottish Warrior on whether he'll make it to SummerSlam.

The SummerSlam match card has quickly taken shape ahead of this weekend's two-night PLE, but Drew McIntyre recently seemed to suggest that his team-up with Logan Paul to battle Randy Orton and Jelly Roll might be at risk.

In a video posted to his social media accounts, McIntyre claimed that he'd been left stranded in the UK after being told he couldn't board his flight due to passport issues. Alas, it seems the Scottish Warrior was trolling us all if his latest update is any indication.

McIntyre has said that Paul sent a private jet to the UK, ensuring he can fly to the U.S. in time for SummerSlam (the PLE takes place in New Jersey). That doesnt really explain the passport issues, of course, but we'll roll with it.

"The past few days, my phone’s been exploding. Text messages, direct messages, phone calls, everybody looking for an answer to leak it somewhere I’m sure, rather than actually checking if I’m okay," McIntyre claimed. "So the update is here. It wasn’t looking good. It’s not felt good. I’ve seen Miz, little selfish of you offering to take my place  I’ve got an update for you, Mike. The answer is absolutely hell no."

"You tried to get me stuck in the UK. I know you’re behind it, but this guy’s got more powerful friends than you," McIntyre said, addressing Jelly Roll. "He sent the jet and it’s Saturday. Come on, gentlemen, Randy, Jelly, you are screwed."

The former WWE Champion has certainly managed to further increase interest in the match by convincing fans he might miss it, but it will proceed as planned. Jelly Roll has reportedly been working hard to prepare for the match, while we can count on Orton, McIntyre, and even Paul, to deliver.
