Looks like we got some beef.
Alexis Lete’s name has been making the rounds as of late and that’s due to the comments she made about former NXT star Cora Jade. Who is Alexis Lete? She signed with WWE’s developmental system in 2022, but she was only released a year later.
She’s not an indie darling. She’s actually a former valley ball girl who transitioned into professional wrestling. Apparently, Alexis thought wrestling was fake, which is why she signed up for it in the first place.
“ It’s a lot more real than you think. Everyone is like, ‘Oh, wrestling is so fake.’ I signed up to be in WWE because I thought it was fake.” She said to Adam Metwally on That One Time, “I didn’t think I was going to get injured. I didn’t think I was actually going to be doing stuff that hurt my body and potentially damage me for the rest of my life. It’s a lot more real than people think it is and your body is so friggin’ sore. I feel like, for the year and a half I was there, my nervous system was constantly in fight or flight mode because of the bumping and constant wear and tear on my body,”
Alexis would go on to say that she enjoyed her time in WWE, but quickly realized that wrestling wasn’t for her. Later on in the interview, Adam would ask her about Roxanne Perez and Alexis had nice things to say about Perez. However, she had no issues outing Jade as a mean girl.
Jade instantly responded by denying the claims in a very detailed post that told a different story.
At this point, this a battle of he said, she said (or in this case, she said, she said) unless genuine proof comes out confirming that one of these women is right.
