It’s time to light it up.
For the first time in over a decade, the former WWE Diva’s Champion will lace up her chuck taylors and get into the ring with her husband, CM Punk. The duo will face the dastardly and sometimes well dressed couple of Seth Rollins (WWE World Heavyweight Champion) and Becky Lynch (WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion).
This whole thing started because Becky got involved with Punk and Rollins’ business. Lynch screwed Punk at Clash in Paris and gave him a slap down that he’ll never forget the following night. But Lee has been a great equalizer for Punk, though this past Monday put into question just how well is Lee coming into this match.
Lee has a history of neck problems; something that Becky will surely exploit. Can she overcome the odds and get revenge on the woman that motorboated her husband?
Is it finally time for Drew McIntyre? The former WWE Champion hasn't held a world title in a year. When he did win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, McIntyre instantly lost it and has continued to be in a world title drought ever since. Tonight is the time where Drew can finally get some gold around his waist, but he’s faced by a man who’s dominated the Smackdown scene for the past couple of years. Can Drew McIntyre pull off a upset victory over “The American Nightmare"?
Also, Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky will compete for the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship. Though Sky comes in with more experience and multiple world title runs under her belt, Vaquer has been killing it since joining NXT in 2024. The first woman to hold the NXT North American and NXT Women’s titles at the same time, Vaquer’s win/loss record when it comes to championship belts is quite high. This should be an excellent match. But the real question is: who will become the new Women’s World Champion?
