Kelly Kelly return confirmed.
Fans remember the rise of the former WWE Divas Champion. Kelly Kelly originally started out as a dancer for Extreme Expose on WWE’s ECW rebrand, but she transitioned into a wrestling role later in her career.
Now Kelly Kelly wasn’t the greatest performer in the ring, but the former WWE star went to great lengths to improve and it showed throughout the years. Kelly Kelly was the face of the WWE throughout 2010 - 2012, with the athlete gaining a notable fan base throughout her run. Kelly Kelly’s journey would end in 2012 as she was released from the company, but the former WWE Divas Champion surprised fans with a return in the first ever Royal Rumble in 2018. She came back again for the Evolution pay-per-view and the 2020 Royal Rumble.
Is there any interest in her returning full time?
Not anytime soon. In fact, Kelly Kelly made it clear last year during her WrestlingNewsCo interview that if she returned then it wouldn’t be full time due to personal commitment.
"I definitely don’t think I could do full-time, especially with the twins, and then I talk about wanting one more baby, so I don’t know. I would definitely come back part-time. My dream is for my twins to watch me in the ring one day. Wait until they’re old enough to see their mom doing that and watching their mom. I’m just so excited for them to get old enough where they really get it. But seeing them, how excited they were watching [SummerSlam], I was like, oh my gosh, this is cool."
Kelly Kelly is all for frequent appearances, and she has a certain name that she would love to step in the ring against. In her recent appearance on Byron Scott's Fastbreak, Kelly Kelly named Charlotte Flair as someone she’s wants to have a match against:
"I do. I really try to be in the know of what’s going on because I’m still around and comeback here and there. I really love Charlotte Flair. She is amazing. She kind of fell into it. She blew up and is so amazing and great. One day. We’re going to have our match."
Is Kelly Kelly vs. Charlotte Flair in the future? If the rumored Evolution 2 pay-per-view happens then it wouldn't be a surprise if that match happens. Only time will tell. Check out the full interview where the former WWE star goes further into depth about her career and personal life.
