So Patrick Clark is going to try and ruin professional wrestling for fans.

The former WWE superstar is unhappy and demands an apology. The former NXT North American Champion was a promising young star in the company; He had a great gimmick and Clark was putting on strong matches week after week.

Then allegations came out. Those allegations were that Clark sent sexually explicit photos to an underage girl and had inappropriate communications with underage boys for grooming.

For a good period of time, WWE actually defended Clark with Triple H blatantly saying during an interview on CBS Sports that he found nothing during their investigation of Clark’s allegations.

"You know, in this day today, accusations are made and you take them all very seriously," Triple said. "You look into them the best you can, and you find out what is there and what isn't. In this situation, [Clark] was also involved in a car accident. That's what took him off TV. In the moment, all this other stuff happens and you look into it and you find that there is a situation that people bring to everyone's attention, you look into it and find that it is what it is and there's nothing there.

Everything that we have done, we are comfortable with him continuing to do what he does and everything else. But he had a car accident. It stemmed down to people thought we removed him from TV for different reasons. We didn't. He was in a car accident. Once he was medically cleared to be able to return to the ring from his car accident, we continued forward the way we did. We looked into what was there and we didn't find anything."

But Clark was eventually pulled from television and then released in May 2021. He hasn’t been able to go anywhere in professional wrestling because the allegations still haunt his career. The former WWE star made a brief comeback earlier this year, but it only drew more criticism and ire amongst professional wrestling fans.

Following the recent news about Mike “Duke” Droese, who was indicted on charges of attempted aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, Clark blasted the fans on instagram over “dragging his name thru the mud” because of the allegations and demanded an apology.

“A LOT OF YOU OWE ME AN APOLOGY FOR DRAGGING ME THRU THE MUD. KNOWING 5 YEARS LATER HERE I STAND STILL FREE AND WITHOUT A SINGLE CHARGE. BUT I GET IT. IT’S VERY HARD FOR PEOPLE TO ADMIT WHEN THEY WERE WRONG AND MALICIOUS. BUT HEY THAT’S WRESTLING.”

But Clark was also trying to get a campaign going about WWE rehiring the 29-year-old.

“IF YOU LOVE ME LIKE YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME, THE BOSS’ (HHH/HBK) PAY ATTENTION TO SOCIAL MEDIA. IT’S SIMPLE. #WeWantTheDREAM AND SPAM @TripleH @WWE. THEY WILL HEAR YOU! WE CAN MAKE ENOUGH NOISE TO DROWN OUT THE LIES AND THE HATE.”

But once that little attempt to get his WWE job failed then Clark lashed out at fans and promised to ruin professional wrestling for them.

However, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer, the reasoning behind Clark’s firing had nothing to do with the allegations. It all stemmed from his attitude backstage, with one incident in particular pushing WWE to fire him. There’s no word on what said incident was that got Clark fired. Whatever the case may be, it does seem as if Clark’s chance to get back into the WWE are done. He’s still young so it’s possible that he could get back into the company in the future, but it would be genuinely shocking if they did rehire him.
