WWE Clash in Paris is the next main roster premium live event on the calendar, set to go down Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France, and a few adjustments to the card were announced on tonight's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw.
One of them that has yet to be fully clarified is what will happen regarding the Women's World Championship. Stephanie Vaquer won the battle royal at WWE Evolution to earn a future title shot, specifically scheduled for that belt at this show. However, Naomi made the announcement tonight that she is pregnant and as such, has vacated the title.
WWE specifically did not mention absolutely anything regarding how this is going to play out going forward. Vaquer obviously will not be just awarded the title, and they'll likely have some kind of announcement next week on Raw regarding setting up some other kind of challenger (or more than one contender) to face her. It wouldn't be surprising at all if this turns into a Fatal 4-Way or Triple Threat or something at Clash in Paris for the belt instead, or if WWE even goes so far as to put that off entirely and swap it for something else on the card.
Another thing that hasn't yet been made 100% official is that Roman Reigns challenged Bronson Reed to some sort of match at this show. At the end of Raw, following a brawl with The Tribal Chief helping Jey Uso fight off The Vision, Reigns was yelling at Reed that he'll "see him in Paris". Big Bronson Reed was saying the same back, so it can be assumed they'll have a match.
One thing that has actually been confirmed to be added to the card, though, is Rusev against Sheamus in a "Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook" - as per Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, who has gotten sick and tired of The Celtic Warrior and The Bulgarian Brute brawling in backstage segments every week.
For those unaware, this is just one of the many different names WWE uses for a generic no disqualification, no count-out match.
As it stands right now, this is the updated lineup for WWE Clash in Paris:
- Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook: Rusev vs. Sheamus
- John Cena vs. Logan Paul
- Fatal 4-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight
- [UNCONFIRMED] Bronson Reed vs. Roman Reigns
- [CANCELLED - STATEMENT PENDING] Stephanie Vaquer is #1 contender for the Women's World Championship and previously scheduled to face Naomi before the title was vacated
