Last. Woman. Standing.
Liv Morgan’s revenge tour could be coming to an end on January 5th. That’s because Rhea Ripley will get another opportunity to challenge for the WWE Women’s World title. But this just won’t be any match; it'll be a Last Woman Standing match.
This isn’t Rhea Ripley’s first Last Woman Standing match. The WWE star previously fought Raquel Rodriquez in a Last Woman Standing match at NXT’s New Year’s Evil in 2021. Ripley lost the match. However, Liv Morgan has never been in the gimmick match. That doesn’t particularly matter when she has Dirty Dom and Raquel Rodriquez by her side.
Who will be the last woman standing when the dust finally settles?
It should be a fun match that puts a cap on their nearly year long rivalry. Of course, with the stipulation, there’s always a chance that Morgan may escape with the belt because of shenanigans. This entire feud started because Ripley was the one who injured Morgan in July 2023.
Morgan returned the favor earlier this year. While Ripley was on the sidelines, the RAW vixen managed to steal Dominick Mysterio and get her booted from The Judgment Day. This stipulation signals that this could be the end of the Ripley/Morgan feud.
Morgan/Ripley only adds to the loaded card where CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins is scheduled to be in the main event. Like Ripley/Morgan, these two have been feuding for quite some time. Rollins/Punk was originally scheduled for WrestleMania 40, but the latter was injured during the Royal Rumble match, nixing the alleged world title bout. These two will finally get a chance to settle their difference in two weeks time.
