Not long after the announcement that Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made it official that Bron Breakker will defend the Intercontinental Championship at WWE WrestleMania 41 in a Fatal 4-Way match against Penta, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor, tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off with another segment involving Pearce making something set for WrestleMania.
That announcement—which was pretty obviously coming for a long time—is that Iyo Sky will defend the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania against both Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat match.
This contract signing devolved into the exact same situation that has been happening for weeks, where Belair and Ripley argued the most and pushed Sky out of the way, before a fight broke out. WWE has been rinsing and repeating the same formula for this entire feud, so that should come to no surprise.
Bianca Belair called out the b.s. that she went through the Elimination Chamber match and won that despite her two friends (Jade Cargill and Naomi) fighting at the start of it, and that it's ridiculous she isn't in a singles match, as her odds to walk out as champion go down with The Eradicator added to the mix. Meanwhile, Ripley had lost the title to Sky on Monday Night Raw in part due to The EST of WWE being ringside, and arguably should have won the title back in her rematch last week if it weren't for Belair being the special guest referee and throwing out the match as a double disqualification.
This Triple Threat forces there to be an actual winner between them to settle the score.
That means the current lineup for WWE WrestleMania 41 consists of the following matches:
- AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
- Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
- Triple Threat for the Women’s World Championship: Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley
- Fatal 4-Way Match for the Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Balor vs. Penta
- Triple Threat Match: CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
- World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso
- WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
- Women’s World Championship Match: Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bianca Belair
- Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena
