Money in the Bank has come and gone.
Seth Rollins joined CM Punk in becoming a two-time Money in the Bank winner and now has the opportunity to cash in his right to a world title match anytime he pleases. Rollins made history at WrestleMania 31 by becoming the first man to cash in during the main event of the biggest show of the year.
We know Rollins will be present tonight. And Jey Uso is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther. Will Rollins make history again?
Speaking of Jey Uso, he has a big WrestleMania rematch against Gunther. Jey is coming off a huge win over Logan Paul and John Cena, but there’s no rest for the champion, especially one who has to face a man that’s dominated WWE in the past two years.
Gunther has only suffered three singles losses in his WWE career. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion may have lost at WrestleMania, but his win over Sami Zayn last year means that he can possibly avenge his loss to Jey Uso here. Add in that Seth Rollins is lurking in the background with the Money in the Bank briefcase, will Jey Uso escape tonight’s RAW as World Heavyweight Champion?
Also, the matches for the King and Queen of the tournament begin tonight. The tournament will run under a different format this year as the early stages will start as four way matches, with the later rounds turning back into single bouts. Who will advance in the early rounds of the annual tournament?
