As of right now, we don't know what WWE has planned for John Cena at WrestleMania. Originally, he was supposed to square off with NXT call-up Lars Sullivan but his anxiety issues saw him go M.I.A. and his push appears to have been put on hold for the foreseeable future.

Well, it now appears as if the leader of the Cenation may have an opponent for the Showcase of the Immortals.

While nothing is confirmed as of right now, it's said that new United States Champion Samoa Joe will end up squaring off with Cena. They've been friends for a long time and trained together in 2000 so there's a lot that could be done here and Joe even took a shot of Cena during Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live

WWE could do something really special with this so here's hoping things start taking shape sooner rather than later.
