This week has seen several conflicting reports about Karrion Kross and Scarlett's WWE status. While there was chatter about them being offered a new deal, we've heard that nothing was signed before they officially became free agents this weekend.
Now, we have a pretty telling indication that Kross and Scarlett won't be staying with WWE, as both Superstars have been moved to the alumni page on WWE.com.
Whether it was money or creative, Kross might have decided that WWE was no longer the right fit for him and his real-life wife. The groundswell of support that's surrounded the former NXT Champion has forced the company to sit up and take notice in recent months.
However, if they weren't willing to push him as a main event talent, then he and Scarlett might have decided to ride that wave of momentum elsewhere.
During a recent interview, Kross was asked about potentially bringing his far more ruthless, unhinged "Killer Kross" persona (which put him on the map in promotions like IMPACT Wrestling and MLW) to WWE.
"If that’s what people wanted, I would 100% do it," he said. "If they wanted me to turn the volume up and give them Killer Kross and the company would let me, I would do it in a heartbeat."
This comes after he addressed some of the online reports surrounding himself and Scarlett.
"I hope so," Kross said earlier this week when asked whether we'll see them on RAW again. "I see things being written online right now, specifically today. Yeah, a lot of what I read is not true. I hate to disappoint people, but I don’t want to bullshit. I hope we do come back."
Stay tuned for updates as we have them.
