Is Kevin Nash returning to the ring?

Kevin Nash is one of the pioneers of the Attitude Era. Before he cemented his legacy by switching over to WCW and forming the N.W.O with Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall, the former WWE Champion was tearing it up as one of the main stars of the promotion.

Nash was first the bodyguard for Shawn Michaels. Then he became a WWE Champion and headlined WrestleMania 10. It’s safe to say that Nash is a marquee name that’s made an impact in this business. However, that was over three decades ago. Though Nash looks great for his age, the former WWE star is 65-years-old. Not everyone wants to wrestle until they’re 100 like Ric Flair.

So when the speculation about Nash returning to the ring opened up recently, the WWE Hall of Famer cleared up those rumors quickly by stating that he has no intentions on returning to the ring.

"There was a guy -- I was working out in the gym, and he said on Kliq This , 'You look good today, Nash. Let me take a picture of you.' I said, 'Alright, send it to me.' So he sent me this picture. I had a camouflage tank top on. I put it on Instagram. So, it ended up on X with somebody saying that, 'Nash looks good.

Oh, dear God, he's gonna [frick]ing he's coming back.' So it's to the point now where they're they don't even know the story or anything. It's just like, 'Oh, he probably tore his knee.' Like, they don't know, it's the quad, you know? It's like, they don't even get any of it right. I'm thinking myself, like, I just want to [frick]ing write back, 'Don't [frick]ing worry.'

Like you don't have to worry because I've already come to the conclusion of: There's no reason for me to do [frick]ing anything I don't feel like doing."

It’s not surprising that Nash has no desire to return since his knees are pretty worn down at this point. Though it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if he popped in The Royal Rumble match one last time. But Nash hasn’t worked a WWE show since the 2014 Royal Rumble.

Since that time, the former WWE Champion has done some independent shows here and there, but Nash hasn’t worked a match since 2018. It wouldn’t be crazy if Nash had one more match, but at this stage in life, he’s likely just enjoying retirement.
