On the June 16, 2025 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, the remaining two Fatal 4-Way matches in round one of this year's King and Queen of the Ring tournaments took place, settling who would round out the semifinals.

First up was the women's match, with Asuka defeating Raquel Rodriguez, Ivy Nile, and Stephanie Vaquer to advance. The Empress of Tomorrow has been out of action for 13 months after undergoing knee surgery for an injury she suffered in early 2024, her last match being at Backlash France in May when she and Kairi Sane dropped the Women's Tag Team Championship titles back to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

Asuka's old entrance theme ("The Future" by CFO$) also returned with her, and seems to have brought some good vibes with it, as the future Hall of Famer pinned Rodriguez following an attack from Rhea Ripley, who sought some revenge as Rodriguez had interfered in her Fatal 4-Way match, costing her a chance to advance. That match was won by Roxanne Perez, who could very well face Asuka in the finals of this tournament at Night of Champions, provided Perez beats Jade Cargill and Asuka beats Alexa Bliss in the semifinals. Asuka's match takes place this coming Friday Night SmackDown.

Over on the men's division, the main event of tonight's episode was fittingly won by "Main Event" Jey Uso, who overcame Big Bronson Reed, Sheamus, and Rusev.

While The Celtic Warrior and The Bulgarian Brute were outside the ring, this match came down to a series of interferences. First, Bron Breakker tried to help Reed win. Breakker was then taken out by Sami Zayn and Penta. Then, LA Knight interfered and messed with Reed, who was splashed several times from Uso, leading to the pinfall.

After the bell, Seth Rollins came out, angry at the outcome and ready to beat down Uso, only for Cody Rhodes to run out and step in between them. The Visionary stared at The American Nightmare, but eventually backed off, leaving the former tag team champions in the ring together as the commentary team reiterated how Rhodes and Uso will face each other in the semifinals next week on Raw. Randy Orton and Sami Zayn will have their semifinals match on this upcoming episode of SmackDown.

What do you think of these four WWE Superstars advancing in this year's tournament? Who do you think will win the semifinals? Drop your predictions, reactions, and other thoughts in the comments below!
