Lilian Garcia is not leaving WWE anytime soon.
This past Monday, Lilian Garcia made her brief return to RAW to fill in for Alicia Taylor and it’s always good to hear the legendary announcer's voice. And that will seemingly continue to happen for the next two years as Garcia herself confirmed that she's signed a new deal with WWE on her social media.
Exactly 1 year ago today, I returned to my home – the @wwe. What an incredible year it has been being able to announce shows on Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Saturday Nights Main Event & Worlds Collide! In fact, being able to continue to also sing and now announce in Spanish has been such an added treat!!
This post is to all of you who have been with me from the beginning and continue to support me! The love you gave me last night on Raw filled my soul! (Some of your stories are included – swipe )
Which is why I am so excited to announce that just yesterday, I signed on for another TWO YEARS with WWE!!!! When I say “I’ll Be Ur Girl Til The End Of The World” I mean it!
Love you all and can’t wait to continue riding this journey with you! See you next at Saturday Nights Main Event – November 1st in Salt Lake City, UT!
Let’s goooooo!!!
Lilian has been with the WWE for 26 years. She made her debut on August 23, 1999 and Lilian has been a part of the biggest moments in professional wrestling. Who could forget Lilian’s segments with The Rock? Or even her love story with Viscera? Lilian was a huge part of the late 90’s/early and mid 2000’s.
Lilian had a full career in WWE until 2016 when she opted to leave the promotion. However, the 59-year-old (yes, I said 59) has been a frequent collaborator with the promotion despite not being long term.
Though Garcia is no longer a full time talent, the company calls her in for a special show or if one of their announcers are unable to make their appearance for the evening. Unless stated otherwise, her deal will likely remain the same.
At the moment, it’s unknown when Lilian will make her return, though it wouldn’t be surprising if she came back for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Either way, congratulations to Lilian Gracia! It’s great that she continues to be one of the important voices of WWE.
